Classic Worship: Matt Redman – The Heart of Worship
Written in the late 1990’s, ‘The Heart of Worship’ was a reflection of a period of time at Matt Redman’s then church Soul Survivor where the lead pastor did away with musicians and sound system.
What followed was a period of acapella songs and heartfelt prayers. When the music finally made a return, the church and Redman had a brand new perspective on worship which led to song being written.
